Legal practice in Nigeria and much of Africa remains largely manual. Legal documents are poorly digitized, making it difficult to source precedents, manage case files, collaborate effectively, or maintain organized client records. As a result, lawyers and firms spend excessive time on administrative tasks instead of legal work.

Core Feature Definition
Workflow Builders
Workflow builders emerged as a critical feature, enabling lawyers to simulate scenarios and test processes before applying them to real contracts. Users can fully customize workflows to match their practice needs, ensuring flexibility without sacrificing structure.
Playbooks
Legal work is inherently pattern-driven. Playbooks were designed to help lawyers define repeatable structures, rules, and fallback conditions for drafting and review. This ensures consistency across documents while still allowing for contextual variation.
Collaboration & Sharing
Collaboration is central to legal practice. Casely supports shared access to documents, workflows, and playbooks—allowing teams to work together seamlessly while maintaining version control and accountability.
Planning & Wireframing
With the scope clearly defined, the platform was broken down into key modules and sections. Wireframes were created to visualize layouts, interactions, and information hierarchy. This phase allowed for deeper ideation and refinement, ensuring the UX was intuitive, scalable, and aligned with legal mental models.
High-Fidelity Design
High-fidelity designs were produced in strict alignment with Casely’s brand guidelines. Screens were converted into developer-ready designs with continued iteration—particularly around the workflow experience.
