Introduction

As a Product Design Specialist at Shuttlers, I've been instrumental in reshaping the landscape of mass transit for corporate individuals in Nigeria's bustling cities of Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. Since joining in June 2022, I've spearheaded the design efforts aimed at enhancing safety, comfort, and efficiency for our passengers.

Problem Statement

The current state of mass transit in Nigeria is marred by various challenges. Traditional modes, epitomized by the iconic "Danfo buses," lack the safety, comfort, and hygiene standards expected by corporate individuals. Shuttlers identified these pain points and set out to revolutionize the industry.

Shuttlers' solution is simple yet groundbreaking: a technology-driven platform that prioritizes safety, comfort, and convenience. By leveraging mobile and web applications, Shuttlers streamlines the commuting experience, offering passengers peace of mind and reliability.

Each step was meticulously crafted to address specific pain points identified in the existing application, resulting in a more intuitive and user-friendly interface.

Conclusion

In addition to the customer app revamp, I led the design efforts for various other Shuttlers products, including the Sales Portal, Admin Dashboard, Vehicle Partner App, Driver App, and Business Dashboard. Each product was meticulously designed to cater to the specific needs of its users while maintaining consistency across the Shuttlers ecosystem.

Through a blend of user-centric design principles, iterative development cycles, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, Shuttlers has emerged as a beacon of innovation in Nigeria's mass transit landscape.
